Royal College of Nursing

The Royal College of Nursing is the world’s largest nursing union and professional body, representing more than 435,000 nurses, student nurses, midwives and health care assistants in the UK and internationally.

The Royal College of Nursing chose FPG to protect their main HQ building with the installation of a Fire Alarm system. The building is a historic 18th century townhouse steeped in history. At one point England’s Prime Minister, Lord Asquith resided at the address.


Securing One of Europe’s Leading Food Processors

ABP Food Group is one of Europe’s leading privately owned food processors providing beef, lamb and sausage products to thousands of customers across the world.

FPG Security Solutions was selected to install a nationwide IP network based Access Control system across 16 sites. Biometric fingerprint readers provide high level perimeter security and allow ABP to keep track of exactly who is on site for emergency mustering.

Securing the Safra Group

The Safra Group is an international network of companies, comprising banking and financial institutions, industrial operations, real estate and agribusiness.

Safra commissioned FPG Security Solutions to install IP based Access Control, Intercom and CCTV systems in their prestigious Berkeley Square London office.


Three Mobile, Data Centre Mechanical Servicing

Three UK is a telecommunications and internet service provider. In 2003 Three was the UK’s first commercial video mobile network and provides 3G and 4G services through its own network infrastructure.

FPG have secured a national contract with Three Mobile, through Emcor, for the mechanical servicing of their UK data centres. These are located all across the UK and this contract win provides an excellent opportunity for further imminent maintenance and system upgrade work.


Full Security Suite for University of the West of Scotland

FPGSS was selected to provide a full suite of security systems, including: access control, CCTV, intruder detection and IP network infrastructure for the University of the West of Scotland’s new state-of-the-art Lanarkshire university campus, situated at the Hamilton International Technology Park.

The new EcoCampus is around two miles from the existing site and comprises modern teaching facilities, student accommodation, Students’ Union and specialist laboratory space.


Baltic Exchange HQ, London

FPG Security Solutions won the contract to supply, install and commission IP-networked access control systems for The Baltic Exchange’s prestigious headquarters, situated adjacent to the iconic “Gherkin” skyscraper in London’s primary financial district.

The Baltic Exchange is the world’s only independent source of maritime market information for the trading and settlement of physical and derivative shipping contracts. Their international community of over 600 member firms encompasses the majority of world shipping interests.


BT, 21 Month Service & Maintenance Contract

The FPG London Fire team worked extremely hard to negotiate and secure a 21 month national contract working directly for BT, one of the world’s leading communications service companies and the UK’s largest mobile network provider. The contract includes the maintenance of fire alarm, gas suppression and VESDA systems throughout the whole of the UK.


FPG Merge with Scutum International Group

We are delighted to announce that FPG has merged with SCUTUM International on the 3rd of August 2017. The Scutum Group has positioned itself for over 25 years as an integrator of electronic protection solutions in the security and safety market. Scutum are a €140m turnover business with 55 offices throughout Europe, employing 1500 personnel and aim to be the largest Independent Company in Europe within the Fire & Security Sectors. Scutum bring economies of scale and further financial security as we continue to grow our business.


The Bunker, Data Centres

The Bunker have built the most secure data centres in the UK, located within purpose built, ex-Ministry of Defence facilities that are armoured, nuclear bombproof and military-specified fortresses.

FPG was selected to protect The Bunker’s Ash Radar Station and Newbury sites with a range of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, including VESDA very early smoke detection apparatus. There was a 6 month time period between each site upgrade.


Protecting UK Broadcaster, Channel 4 London

Channel 4 is a British public-service television broadcaster that began transmission on the 2nd of November 1982. The station is now owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, a public corporation of the Department for Culture, Media & Sport.

Channel 4 identified a high threat following the general election and commissioned FPG to install a Voice alarm and Public Address System for emergency staff evacuation. We are delighted to be protecting such a renowned UK broadcaster.
