Victoria and Albert Museum

The Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a collection of over 4.5 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

FPG Security Solutions secured multiple orders to install door monitoring and object detection devices, as well as provide IP-based access control training. We are delighted to be protecting such a prestigious national treasure.


Atria Office Space

Atria is a state-of-the-art office space with dramatic 7 storey atrium situated in Edinburgh’s leading business and financial district. Atria redefines standards of office space, offering meticulous design and precision engineering, as well as achieving a BREEAM “Excellent” rating.

FPG Security Solutions were selected to commission, supply and install access control, entrance turnstiles and lift control. Engineers carried out the install while the buildings remained fully occupied and operational.


Ascot Racecourse Grandstand

In addition to previous contracts to upgrade the fire systems within adjacent buildings, FPG has now won the maintenance contract for fire alarm, VESDA and Notifier systems within the prestigious Ascot Racecourse Grandstand building, home of The Royal Ascot racing meet.

The Grandstand features 217 private boxes with spaces for between 10 and 108 guests, a private bar, waiting staff and betting facilities on each level.


Security Solution for Infinis Wind Farms

Infinis is one of the UK’s leading generators of renewable power, operating landfill gas plants and wind farms across the UK. Inifinis plays an active role in building out the UK renewable power generation capacity requirements, in view of the challenging decarbonisation UK targets required to be met by 2020.

FPG Security Solutions were chosen to design, supply, install and commission CCTV and intruder systems, including remote CCTV monitoring for Inifinis’ relocation of their central monitoring facility from Northampton to Edinburgh. Various other projects are also ongoing with Infinis throughout the UK


Protecting Datum Farnborough

Datum develops and operates highly-connected carrier and cloud neutral co-location data centres and is trusted by an impressive client list, including companies from the FTSE 250 and Fortune 500.

FPG were trusted by Datum to protect their development of the A54 building data suite, requiring an expansion of the existing Water Mist system. A range of Fire Detection, Alarm systems, VESDA and Water Mist Fire Suppression systems were installed.


Royal College of Nursing

The Royal College of Nursing is the world’s largest nursing union and professional body, representing more than 435,000 nurses, student nurses, midwives and health care assistants in the UK and internationally.

The Royal College of Nursing chose FPG to protect their main HQ building with the installation of a Fire Alarm system. The building is a historic 18th century townhouse steeped in history. At one point England’s Prime Minister, Lord Asquith resided at the address.


Securing One of Europe’s Leading Food Processors

ABP Food Group is one of Europe’s leading privately owned food processors providing beef, lamb and sausage products to thousands of customers across the world.

FPG Security Solutions was selected to install a nationwide IP network based Access Control system across 16 sites. Biometric fingerprint readers provide high level perimeter security and allow ABP to keep track of exactly who is on site for emergency mustering.

Securing the Safra Group

The Safra Group is an international network of companies, comprising banking and financial institutions, industrial operations, real estate and agribusiness.

Safra commissioned FPG Security Solutions to install IP based Access Control, Intercom and CCTV systems in their prestigious Berkeley Square London office.


Three Mobile, Data Centre Mechanical Servicing

Three UK is a telecommunications and internet service provider. In 2003 Three was the UK’s first commercial video mobile network and provides 3G and 4G services through its own network infrastructure.

FPG have secured a national contract with Three Mobile, through Emcor, for the mechanical servicing of their UK data centres. These are located all across the UK and this contract win provides an excellent opportunity for further imminent maintenance and system upgrade work.


Full Security Suite for University of the West of Scotland

FPGSS was selected to provide a full suite of security systems, including: access control, CCTV, intruder detection and IP network infrastructure for the University of the West of Scotland’s new state-of-the-art Lanarkshire university campus, situated at the Hamilton International Technology Park.

The new EcoCampus is around two miles from the existing site and comprises modern teaching facilities, student accommodation, Students’ Union and specialist laboratory space.
