UV-HF24 ULTRA-VIOLET FLAME DETECTOR
The UV-HF24 Flame Detector detects the presence of a flame within the field of view by sensing the ultraviolet radiation emitted.
This is achieved by utilising a UV TRON gas discharge tube consisting of an anode and cathode enclosed in an Argon gas-filled envelope. When the UV rays from the flame are exposed to the negatively charged cathode, it emits photoelectrons, which ionise the Argon causing a succession of current pulses.
FEATURES
- Incorporates filter to eliminate unwanted alarms.
- High Immunity against electrical noise and radio frequency interference.
- Special pulsed circuit design reduces standby current
