FPG are extremely proud to be the preferred provider for all EE fire projects UK wide, with fire Suppression & Detection systems installed over a vast range of sites.

EE is responsible for the EE, Orange and T-Mobile brands, serving more than 30 million customers and is currently the UK’s biggest and fastest mobile network, being first to offer the superfast 4G mobile service. Our systems are critical to protecting EE’s mobile switch sites and data rooms, comprising of FM200 and Inert Gas extinguishing systems.

Being the preferred provider for all EE fire projects is a fantastic position for FPG and the work carried out across all sites has been completed smoothly and to programme. FPG are pleased to be involved with one of the most advanced digital communications companies in the UK.

Protecting 3 Data Halls with Brightsolid

Brightsolid provide data centre and cloud hosting services for a variety of organisations from innovative start ups to large FTSE100 companies. They were crowned Scotland’s Best Employer 2015.

Brightsolid chose FPG to protect their 3 data halls and transformer room within their new Aberdeen facility. A full range of Fire Detection, VESDA, Alarms & Gas Suppression Systems were installed.

Thames Water

Service Contract for the UK’s Largest Water Services Company

Thames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater services company, supplying 2.6 billion litres of drinking water and treating 4.4 billion litres of wastewater per day. Thames Water’s 15 million customers comprise 27% of the UK population.

The service contract has so far included testing of the Fire Alarms and servicing the Water Mist Fire Suppression system.

Fire Alarms and Gas Suppression for Arconic

Arconic is a pioneer and innovator in the production of Bauxite,
Alumina and Aluminum products, responsible for the world’s largest
bauxite mining portfolio.

Arconic chose FPG to protect their Birmingham facility offices,
cooling tower and fume abatement plant. To accomplish this we
installed a range of Fire Detection and Alarm systems, alongside CO2
and Inert Gas Suppression systems.

FPG-Piper-Bravo

High Hazard Fire Protection for Piper Bravo

Piper Bravo is a North Sea oil production platform located 193 kilometres northeast of Aberdeen in the central North Sea, standing in 145 metres of water. It was installed in 1992, and commenced production in February 1993.

Oil rigs are a high risk environment where there is a mixture of explosive atmospheres and flammable liquids or gases. In these circumstances a fire can have catastrophic consequences.

FPG provided a retrofit Fire Detection system to protect the entire rig, comprising of ATEX certified Infra-red Flame Detectors, certified for use in zone 1 explosion hazard areas.

FPG-NHS-Doncaster-Bassetlaw

NHS Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospital

Bassetlaw is an acute hospital with over 170 beds, a 24-hour Emergency Department and the full range of district general hospital services, including a breast care unit and renal dialysis.

FPG Security Solutions was commissioned to install an IP based CCTV system, including Body Worn Cameras and a CCTV review station. Hybrid systems were installed to seamlessly integrate the existing multivendor analogue CCTV with the new IP based cameras, allowing an upgrade path to a full IP based system and lowering costs on IT infrastructure. This represents another NHS win for FPG in the healthcare sector.

FPG Luton Airport

Flying High with Luton Airport Win

London Luton Airport is the 5th busiest airport in the UK, handling a record number of 14,551,837 passengers in 2016. It is the 4th largest airport serving the London area after Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, and is one of London’s 6 international airports along with London City and Southend.

FPG Security Solutions was awarded a 3 year service and maintenance contract for the electronic security at the airport. In addition to this we have been significantly expanding their CCTV and Access Control, including advanced Video Analytics and Thermal Imaging Cameras. Security is a chief concern for all airports and we are proud to have been selected for such a critical installation.

FPG-Trump-Turnberry

Protecting the Luxurious Trump Turnberry Resort

The legendary Trump Turnberry Resort with its famous three links courses is located on the rugged west coast of Scotland. This instantly recognisable traditional Edwardian building first opened in 1906 as the world’s first golf resort.

FPG was commissioned to install Fire Detection and Alarm systems throughout the ballroom, lighthouse, lodges, hotel, clubhouse, spa and performance academy. This comprised of mainly dual optical heat detectors, opting for VESDA in the ballroom for aesthetic reason. Almost 800 devices are installed throughout the hotel complex.

FPG-Blackwall-Tunnel

Blackwall Tunnel Transport for London

The Blackwall Tunnel is a critical transport link underneath the River Thames in East London, linking the London Borough of Tower Hamlets with the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and part of the A102 road. FPG was commissioned to install, design and build an Inert Foam Suppression system, including ATEX classified Gas Detection and Fire Alarm Monitoring. This protects the Blackwall Tunnel mid river sump.

Tunnel sumps pose a high hazard risk, confined space entry, road closures and impose minimum working hours. This is a key win for our High Hazard Division and represents another tunnel win for FPG with Transport for London.

FPG Relocates London Office for Future Expansion

On the 4th January 2017 the London & South East regional team relocated to Mitre Passage on the Greenwich Peninsula. The new office affords the team more space and room for future expansion as the team continues to grow. It is ideally situated with road, rail, river and airport links on our doorstep. Among our new neighbours are the O2 Arena, TFL Head Office and the Emirates Airline Cable Car that transports people across the Thames from the Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal docks every 30 seconds.
