SZM MINI ZONE MONITOR
The SZM is a Mini Zone Monitor designed to allow conventional detectors or Beam detectors to be interfaced to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system. The unit will allow connection of up to six conventional detectors, which are fully monitored for open or short circuit.
Full monitoring against malfunction or disconnection, together with a self-test feature through the ESP protocol, ensure the integrity of the SZM at all times.
The SZM utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing and it is available in either an OEM version (as illustrated above) or complete with an IP65 rated enclosure.
The conventional zone on the SZM does not support any line continuity options, therefore if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.
