DZM DUAL ZONE MONITOR
Model DZM is a Dual Zone Monitor designed to allow conventional detectors to be interfaced to Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable system. The unit will allow connection of up to sixty conventional detectors, which are fully monitored for open and short circuit, a open collector output is provided but will only operate if supported by the Control Panel.
Full monitoring against malfunction or disconnection, together with a self test feature through the ESP protocol, ensure the integrity of the DZM at all times. The DZM utilises simple DIL switches for reliable addressing and it is available in either an OEM version (as illustrated above) or complete with an IP65 rated enclosure.
The conventional zone on the DZM does not support any line continuity options, therefore if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.
